Plan a Visit
What to Expect
Simply put, we gather on Sunday to worship God, study His Word and
encourage each other.
What do we actually do here? - Specifically:
We pray to our heavenly Father.
We sing songs of praise and encouragement using only our voices.
We take the Lord’s supper, remembering our Lord's sacrifice.
We study God’s Word for our daily lives.
We give an offering out of our blessings. (visitors are not expected to give.)
Sunday worship takes place in our auditorium at 10:30 am where you can experience singing, prayer, a Bible message, and the Lord’s Supper. We normally began with singing, led by our song leader with words on the screen so that we may follow along.
Then we take the Lord’s Supper. Afterwards, we have an offering to God for the many blessings God has given us so that the work of the church can progress throughout our community and world.
Finally, we are given a lesson from God’s Word. We believe that this should be engaging and uplifting. These services are recorded each morning and night, watch one here.
“I am not sure that I am ready to participate in some of those activities.” - No problem! You decide your own level of involvement. You may prefer to just watch and listen. We’re happy with that. You don’t have to sing, pray, offer money or do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
When do You Meet?
We meet three times a week.
Bible Classes – 9:30am
Morning Worship – 10:30am
Evening Worship – 6pm
Devotional & Classes – 7:00pm
Our congregation shares its blessings with the local community in various ways. It also strives to spread Christ’s message through local and foreign mission work, as well as our full-time campus ministry.
“I still have questions.” – Good! Please ask anyone in the congregation to introduce you to our minister, David Schonhoff, or one of the other church leaders. They are warm, caring people (just like the rest of the Central Church family) who are happy to spend time with you and help in any way they can.
