Our Beliefs

We believe there is one true and living God, who created the heavens and the earth and everything in them.  God has made himself known by acting repeatedly in human history to reveal and accomplish his will.

The greatest moment in making himself known came in the person, Jesus of Nazareth.  He lived a life of faithful service without sin, was put to death, was buried and was raised from the dead three days later.

These events alone provide for the forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation for all humanity. Our response in believing that he died for us, changing our course of life (repentance), and joining him in his death and resurrection through baptism (immersion) is what his Word teaches us in order to receive this gracious gift of new life.  Having ascended to the right hand of God the Father, he has poured out the Holy Spirit on his church which empowers our faithful living.

We eagerly await his return to judge both the living and the dead, thus restoring and reconciling all things to God the Father.
